Visit Ready — menopause symptom notes for your doctor

Ten minutes with a doctor is not much time. Visit Ready helps you walk in with one page that says what is wrong, how long it has been going on, and how it is affecting your life.

How it works

1. Choose your symptoms. Tick anything you have been experiencing. The list is ordered by what women actually report most often — irritability, anxiety and brain fog come first, not last.
2. Add the details. Tap a symptom to set how severe it is, how long you have had it, and how it affects your daily life.
3. Add context. On the summary screen, write what you have already tried and the questions you do not want to forget.
4. Create your PDF. One page. Print it, email it, or just hand over your phone.

Common questions

Why does the app ask how a symptom affects my daily life?

Because it is the hardest thing to wave away. "Poor memory" is easy to dismiss. "I lost my train of thought twice in client meetings this month" is not. That line goes on the PDF in your own words.

There are symptoms in the list I never linked to menopause.

That is deliberate. Joint pain, acid reflux, ringing ears, itchy skin, palpitations and recurrent UTIs are grouped separately because many people never think to mention them. Whether they belong on your list is your call — the app does not decide for you.

Does the app tell me whether I am in menopause?

No. It does not diagnose, score, assess, suggest tests or recommend treatment. It only organises what you record so your doctor hears it clearly. Always speak with a qualified healthcare professional about your symptoms.

Why do I need a subscription to export?

Choosing symptoms, filling in every detail and previewing your summary are all free and always will be. The subscription unlocks the one-page PDF export.

I already subscribed but the app says I have not.

Open Settings (the gear icon, top right) and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: on your iPhone open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the current period ends.

Where are my records stored? Can you see them?

They are stored only on your phone, and no, we cannot see them. There is no account and no server that receives your health information. See the privacy policy for details.

Because your records live only on your phone, they are not backed up by us. If you delete the app, reset your phone or switch to a new one, your records do not come with you. If you want to keep a copy, export the PDF and save it somewhere safe.

Can I use the app in Chinese?

Yes. The app follows your iPhone's language setting and supports English and Simplified Chinese, including the exported PDF.

How do I erase everything?

Open Settings inside the app and tap Delete my records, or simply delete the app.
