Seizure Log helps you record seizures and produce a one-page report for your neurologist. Because seizure records are sensitive health information, the app was built so that they never leave your phone.
| Data | Where it lives |
|---|---|
| Each seizure: date and time, type, length, triggers, recovery time, notes | Your device only |
| Whether there was an aura, and whether someone witnessed it | Your device only |
| Medication changes you record | Your device only |
| Trigger names you add yourself | Your device only |
The PDF report is generated on your device. We never receive a copy of it.
Exporting opens the standard iOS share sheet. What happens next is entirely your choice — printing it, saving it to Files, emailing it, or handing your phone to your doctor. Once you pass the file to another app or service, that app's own privacy policy applies. We are not involved in that step and receive nothing from it.
Unlocking the PDF export is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. We never see your name, email address, or payment details.
To know whether you have unlocked the export, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase management service. RevenueCat receives your purchase history (which product was bought and whether it is valid) together with a random identifier generated for your installation. Per RevenueCat's published privacy manifest, this is used only to make the app work, is not linked to your identity, and is not used for tracking. No seizure or health information is ever sent to RevenueCat or to us.
The app does not use the Advertising Identifier, does not track you across other apps or websites, and contains no analytics SDK. We have no way to know how many seizures you logged, or whether you opened the app at all.
Parents and carers often record on behalf of a child. In that case the records are still stored only on that phone, and everything above applies unchanged. The app is not directed at children under 13 as independent users.
Because everything is local, you are always in control:
There is nothing for us to delete on our side, because we never received it. Note that this also means your records are not backed up by us: if you delete the app or lose your phone, the records are gone. If you want to keep a copy, export the PDF and save it somewhere safe.
Seizure Log only organises what you record. It does not diagnose, does not classify your seizures, does not recommend medication, and — importantly — it cannot detect, alert on, or predict seizures. Never rely on it for safety. Always speak with a qualified healthcare professional.
If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page will change with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
